Mix as for pastry:
1 3/4 cups flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. nutmeg
4 Tblsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup milk
Press into the bottom of a greased, 13" pizza pan or a jelly roll pan.
Filling:
3 cups sliced peaches
3 oz. package, dry peach jello
1/4 tsp. almond extract
Mix and spread evenly over crust.
Topping:
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup oatmeal
4 Tblsp. butter
Mix as for a crumb topping. Sprinkle evenly over filling.
Sprinkle with 1/3 cup sliced almonds.
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
