1 (16 oz.) can purple plums, halved
1 (16 oz.) can pears, cubed
1 (16 oz.) can peaches, cubed
1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
1 can bing cherries
½ cup brown sugar
1/4 melted butter
1 (20 oz.) jar applesauce
2 sliced bananas
Drain canned fruit
Dissolve sugar in melted butter.
Mix all fruit, except applesauce and bananas, with the sugar and butter.
Pour into a large casserole dish. (make sure there’s room to add the applesauce)
Mix in applesauce and sliced bananas, season to taste with a few sprinkles of cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

-It’s perfect for brunch with muffins and an egg casserole.
-It goes great with ham, Christmas buffets, New Year’s day, Easter . . .
-It reheats well, if you have any leftovers!
-If I’m serving two smaller groups back to back...I divide the fruit and sugar mixture into two smaller casseroles. Then I mix half the applesauce and one banana with the first one baked. The next day, mix the other half of the fruit with another banana and the other half of the applesauce. I get to plan once and serve it fresh, twice.
