1 pkg Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
1/3 cup margarine
1 egg
Heat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine, and egg. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Press into an ungreased 9 X 13 pan. Bake for 12-18 minutes until light golden brown.
3 cups miniature marshmallows
Remove crust from oven and sprinkle marshmallows to cover. Return to oven for 1-2 minutes—just until marshmallows begin to puff. Let cool for ½ hour.
Topping:
2/3 cup white corn syrup
¼ cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
12 oz pkg peanut butter chips
In a large saucepan, heat syrup, butter, vanilla and chips until melted and smooth--stir constantly.
2 cups corn flakes
2 cups salted peanuts
Remove above topping mixture from heat and immediately stir in cereal and peanuts. Spoon over cooled marshmallows and spread evenly. Chill and cut into small bars.
