Chocolate Ice Cream

From July's ParentLife magazine

1/2 gallon chocolate milk
1 -14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
8 oz. carton Cool Whip, thawed

Combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate milk, and whipped topping in mixer bowl and mix well.

Give each child (or child at heart) two heavy-duty, quart sized, zip-lock bags. Pour 1 cup of the ice cream mixture into one bag, zip to seal. Place first bag inside the second bag, fill with ice, and zip closed. Shake until ice cream is firm.

Or: pour mixture into an ice cream freezer. If needed, chocolate milk may be added up to the "fill" line. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

Terri’s note: Keep it easy – snip off corner of baggie and let kids squeeze out their sweet treat like a freeze pop!
