1 (10 1/2 ounces) package of Fritos corn chips
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
4 Hershey chocolate bars (optional)
Lightly grease a 9 x 13” inch pan, pour in the corn chips.
In a heavy bottom saucepan, over medium heat, carefully bring sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Remove from heat.
Stir in the peanut butter until smooth. Pour peanut sauce over chips and level out mixture.
Immediately place the chocolate bars in a single layer over the hot mixture and wait a few minutes until they begin to melt. Gently smooth the chocolate out to form a thin layer. Allow to cool and break into pieces.

- Carole says she prefers to add a few more Fritos, 1 ½ bags, as there’s plenty of the peanut mixture to cover it.
