Hawaiian Burgers

1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
6 pineapple slices
3 Tblsp. Catsup
1 Tblsp. mustard
½ teaspoon ground ginger
1 ½ Tblsp. soy sauce
1 Tblsp. brown sugar

Mix catsup, mustard, ginger, soy sauce, and brown sugar.

Form ground beef into 6 patties.

Baste burgers with sauce as they grill.

While burgers are grilling, brush pineapple slices with 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.

Grill until pineapple is heated through and seared with grill marks, about 6 minutes for fresh, 2 minutes for canned pineapple.

After turning burgers, top with pineapple slice until burgers are cooked through so flavors meld.

Serve each patty topped with grilled pineapple slice.
