Unstuffed Pork Chops
1 med. apple, peeled, cored and diced (optional)
1 sm. onion, chopped (~¼ cup)
Salt and pepper to taste
4 -6 slices fresh bread, torn or cubed
1/4 tsp. sage (I just sprinkle some on)
3 tbsp. melted butter
4-6 thick pork chops
1 can of mushroom soup mixed with ¼-½ can milk to thin.
Toss together apple, onion, salt, pepper, bread cubes, sage and butter.
Arrange chops, single layer, in a casserole dish.
Cover with dressing mixture. Pour soup evenly over all.
Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for about 1 ¼ hours.
