Strawberry Butter

1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup real butter, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Continue beating as you gradually add sugar and vanilla; mix well.
Stir in strawberries.
Cover tightly and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
May be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Serve with scones, fresh muffins or biscuits, toast, waffles, or pancakes!

Or . . . Strawberry Butter two

1/2 cup fresh or frozen (thawed) crushed strawberries
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2½ cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Mix butter or margarine and strawberries in cuisinart until blended. Add vanilla and squeeze in a little lemon. Slowly mix in powdered sugar.
