Spinach-Strawberry Salad

Brown:
1/4 cup sliced almonds in
1Tblsp. vegetable oil with
2 Tblsp. sugar Let stand to cool.

Dressing: Mix:
1/3 cup red wine vinegar (or your favorite salad vinegar)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tblsp. minced onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 Tblsp. poppy seeds

Just before serving, toss toasted almonds and dressing with:
1 pound cleaned spinach and
1 quart sliced strawberries
