♦ Spray a 9 x 13 pan or baking dish
♦ Fill pan with fruit -blueberries, peaches, blueberries & peaches, apples…
♦ Cream butter
♦ Blend in sugar, flour and cinnamon
♦ Mix in oatmeal
♦ Plop mixture over fruit and scatter to cover fruit
♦ Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until topping browns
♦ Serve warm.
~ There’s plenty of sugar in the topping for the entire dish, no need to sweeten fruit or peel it!
~ Do feel free to add a bit of almond extract to the peaches, more cinnamon to the apples.
~ If you'd like a bit more pie filling consistency and less juice, toss fruit with a couple Tblsp. of flour before topping with oatmeal mixture.
~ An 8X8 inch baking dish makes a dandy 1/2 recipe for a smaller crowd!
