“Many of our clients arrive afraid, depressed, and embarrassed to ask for help. They are very grateful for the personal care items we can offer them. These donated supplies not only help them with their immediate needs, but they also demonstrate that our community cares about them.” -LEAVEN
100% of your support, less bank fees, will go to the participating community closest to the address listed on your donation!
2022 Dates: February 13 – March 6!

The Family’s annual Help for the Homeless hygiene drive works with area homeless coalitions every spring to stock the shelves of 90+ homeless and crisis programs in 19 Wisconsin communities in our listening areas.
The goal of ‘Help for the Homeless’ is to supply a year’s worth of products to each agency.
In 2021, generous community members at 750+ businesses, churches, and schools hosted collection boxes and donated $503,000 worth of laundry soap, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. to their local crisis programs.
The drive has provided more than $4.2 million dollars worth of hygiene supplies to local crisis programs and those they serve over the past 30 years.
Donations of supplies and financial support will be used in the community where they come from.

WAYS TO HELP
Host a collection box
Place collection boxes in high-traffic common areas within your church, school, business or organization. Invite staff, members, and students to contribute.
For businesses and organizations offering work-from-home options for staff, you can still participate by promoting the drive in-house and encouraging staff to make a financial donation (see below) or drop purchased supplies off at participating Festival Foods or Walgreens stores.
GET YOUR RESOURCE KIT
Print-ready flyers and blurbs to paste into newsletters, emails, memos etc. are in the information kit below. Click to learn more.
Make a financial donation
Donate securely online via the “Give to the Drive” button above, or make checks out to “The Family” with “Help for the Homeless” written on the memo line.
Mail to: The Family Radio, Attn. Help for the Homeless, 1909 W. Second St, Appleton WI 54914.
Support will be designated for the participating community closest to the address of the donor. Funds will be used to purchase gift cards to local retailers for the purchase of hygiene supplies. 100% of donated funds, less bank fees, go toward supplies.
