Born and raised in the Northeastern Illinois, Jason now lives with his wife Jodi and their furry family members Rosemary and Peyton in Wisconsin. His son Joshua lives in the Kenosha area with Tamaira, his wife. Jason enjoys playing disc golf with his son when time allows and he shares a love for downhill skiing with Jodi. Jason has been in radio for 33 years and is excited that God has blessed him with the gift of combining his love for Jesus with his love of radio. Jason has been a Christian since childhood and one of his fondest memories is doing devotions with his great grandmother Martha. Jason clings to Psalm 46:10, which says “Be still and know that I am God.” Jason wants our listeners to know that “God never said life would be easy, but He did tell us that we will never have to walk through it alone.”

My journey to the Family was a long and arduous trek……nah, just kidding!
I came to the Family after years of praying for an opportunity to find a way I could use the gifts and talents HE had given me. I had enlisted the “help” of a dear friend and strong prayer warrior. Her name is Karen. She prayed for me for years. One day Karen contacted me and shared that the Family was looking for an on-air talent. With no real radio experience, I thanked her but declined. She insisted that I “at least apply”, reminding me that I had asked her for prayer, that she had been praying continuously for years, and now the Holy Spirit was nudging her to nudge me!!!
You can’t ignore the Holy Spirit…..
As Josh Wilson sings…..That was then (I applied for the on-air position, interviewed over a period of about 3 months and was hired.)…..this is now – nearly 10 years of on air-work, supporting the Family at community events and concerts and encouraging our listeners with music and programming that points to the greatness of our God!
My life verse…..Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
