Plymouth/Sheboygan Answers “Help for the Homeless” With $25,000 in Hygiene Supplies!
More than 90 Plymouth and Sheboygan area employers, churches and schools donated $25,000 worth of hygiene supplies to six local crisis programs* through The Family Radio Network’s annual “Help for the Homeless” hygiene drive this spring. The event occurs in 15 Northeast and Central Wisconsin communities, helping 83 local crisis programs, and receiving approx. $300,000 worth of supplies annually. The goal of the drive is to provide a year’s worth of supplies to every crisis program.
“I don’t recall any other community enjoying such incredible success in their first year of participation. The Plymouth/Sheboygan areas have responded to the call with such fantastic generosity!” says Heidi Prahl, Help for the Homeless event coordinator.
