Ingredients
  • 1 Large Box Crispix, or Carla uses Corn Chex too
  • 2 cups cashews or pecan halves
  • ¾ cup dark Karo syrup
  • ¾ cup butter, 1½ sticks
  • 1½ cups brown sugar
  • T. sugar

Instructions
  1. ♦ Pour cereal and nuts into the bottom of a large broiler pan, or a lasagna pan.
    ♦ In a saucepan, combine syrup, butter and sugar.
    ♦ Heat until butter is melted, stir, and pour over cereal mixture.
    ♦ Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  2. ♦ Remove from pan immediately on to parchment paper or aluminum foil.
    ♦ When cool, break apart and add M&M’s.
  3. ♦ This is very addicting! You may also add pretzel sticks to the mixture before baking.
