The Family is grieving alongside our friends in the Chippewa Valley as we mourn the tragic loss of 10-year-old Lily Peters. We continue to pray that God brings healing and restoration to the Chippewa Valley.
“Heavenly Father, we ask You to help our brothers and sisters heal from such a shocking tragedy. Lord, we pray for peace over those mourning the life of Lily, we pray for families to heal, and we ask You to help those struggling rest in You and the promises found in Your Word today. We also pray for area counselors and pastors, that You grant them wisdom as they help people heal. We ask You to spread a blanket of comfort and protection over the Chippewa Valley. God, may those who do not know You have the opportunity to find Your peace and rest in You as they mourn this precious life. We praise You for the beautiful years Lily had with family and friends and ask You to comfort her loved ones as they continue to heal and process this tragedy. We pray for Your hand of protection over all those who are grieving, Lord. We ask that they can rest in Your precious Son, Jesus. Thank you, God, for Your gifts of goodness, grace, mercy, and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
